Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Allen Iverson led a balanced Detroit attack with 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals, as the Pistons defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 87-76, at Bradley Center. Tayshaun Prince added 19 points, eight boards and four helpers for the Pistons, who have won three in a row. Rodney Stuckey and Rasheed Wallace dropped 16 points apiece, with Wallace adding 12 rebounds. The Pistons were without the services of Richard Hamilton, who was inactive due to a groin injury. Andrew Bogut had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks, who saw their three- game win streak halted and their five-game home win streak become history. Luc Mbah a Moute and Ramon Sessions had 12 points each in defeat. Detroit jumped out to a 27-21 lead after the first quarter but Milwaukee cut it to 46-44 at the intermission. "Allen (Iverson) got us going in the first quarter," said Prince. "We pretty much dictated the tempo throughout the game." The Bucks took an early two-point lead in the third, but the Pistons responded with a 12-0 run to take control. Stuckeys tip-in sparked the run and his layup closed it out with 5:39 left in the frame for a 58-48 lead for the visitors. The Pistons outscored the Bucks 27-11 in the third to take a 73-55 lead into the fourth stanza. Iversons jumper gave the Pistons a 20-point lead, 75-55, at 10:53 of the fourth. Four points from Joe Alexander, a pair from Sessions and a jumper by Francisco Elson brought the Bucks within 82-71 with 1:54 showing on the clock. Milwaukee failed to close within the final margin down the stretch and Detroit cruised to victory. "Its a little discouraging to lose at home, but weve had one bad game out of the last six or seven home games," said Bogut. Game Notes: The Bucks finished a three-game homestand at 2-1. Milwaukee fell to 8-5 as the host on the season..Detroit improved to 8-6 on the road..The Pistons have won three straight and eight of their past nine meetings with the Bucks, including a 107-97 win in Auburn Hills on November 28. cheapjerseys.com . -- The first call that Andy Reid received came from Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt. jerseys from china .Y. -- James Southerland enjoys shooting the basketball. http://www.comcheapjerseys.com/ . Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said before Thursdays game against the Arizona Diamondbacks that doctors expect Gordon to make a full recovery. Gordon, injured Wednesday night sliding head-first into third base on a steal attempt against Cincinnati, had an MRI earlier Thursday and arrived to the clubhouse with a cast over his right hand. The Los Angeles Kings continued their winning ways on the road, taking down the New Jersey Devils 2-1 in overtime of Game One of the Stanley Cup Final. Anze Kopitar scored the winning goal on a breakaway 8:21 into overtime, which may have been the most exciting play in an otherwise mundane affair. The two clubs combined for 42 shots on goal (25 for L.A., 17 for New Jersey) in more than 68 minutes of game action. In fact, the Devils didnt record their first shot of the second period until there was 5:30 remaining in the period -- thats a long time to go without a single shot on goal. Credit for the Kings territorial dominance goes, in part, to the Kings defence pairing of Drew Doughty and Rob Scuderi, who were the only players with a double-digit Corsi rating for the game (www.timeonice.com), an indication of territorial dominance when they were on the ice. While Kopitar continued his strong postseason, the other goal-scorers in the game notched their first of the playoffs. Colin Fraser got the Kings on the board with a quick shot through Martin Brodeurs legs in the first period, whiile Devils D Anton Volchenkov had his point shot rebound off Kings D Vyacheslav Voynov and into the net to tie the game late in the second period.dddddddddddd. Kopitar led all players with four shots on goal in the game and Zach Parise had three for the Devils, but New Jerseys fourth-line centre, Ryan Carter, also registered three shots on goal. Parise and linemates Travis Zajac and Dainius Zubrus each took a minus-2 on the night, on the ice for both goals against. for his part, Zubrus had a game-high eight hits, when no one else had more than five. Neither team will feel wonderful about their Game One performance, but the Kings, coming off a long layoff, earned a road win by holding the Devils to a total of 17 shots. If the Devils cant generate significantly more chances against one of the games best goalies, Jonathan Quick, then the Kings will continue steamrolling through the 2012 playoffs.
