PHOENIX -- Chris Bosh scored 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting, ailing LeBron James added 21 and the Miami Heat closed a six-game road trip with a 97-88 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night. The Heat, playing without Dwyane Wade for the second game in a row because of a left foot injury, led by as many as 15 in the third quarter and were up by nine with 5 1/2 minutes to play. The Suns cut it to two before Miami scored the games final seven points. James, who missed the morning shootaround with flu-like symptoms, made only 8 of 20 shots but still reached 20 points for the 11th time in 11 games this season. Markieff Morris scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half for Phoenix, which was coming off a loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles on Friday night. Shannon Brown and Michael Beasley had 14 points apiece. James may have been under the weather, but he had enough energy to lead the final surge that lifted Miami to its fifth straight win in Phoenix. Morris tip-in with 8:39 to go tied it at 79, but Ray Allen banked in an 8-footer, Brown was called for an offensive foul, and Mario Chalmers stole the ball from Sebastian Telfair, leading to James fast-break layup. The Heat were off on a 9-0 run, capped by James reverse dunk with 5 1/2 minutes to go. Phoenix then rallied again. Telfair sank a 3-pointer, then Goran Dragic knocked the ball loose and gathered it in for a layup to cut it to 90-88 with 2:11 remaining. Phoenix had a chance to tie but Beasley missed an open 14-footer. Bosh made a pair of free throws, James hit a driving layup, then Miami made three of four free throws in the final 30 seconds to finally put it away and finish the trip 4-2. James had a dunk on a lob pass from Mike Miller and sank a 3-pointer in a 19-4 outburst that broke a 56-56 tie and put the Heat up 75-60 after Norris Coles steal and layup with 2:52 left in the third quarter. But James went to the bench and the Suns reserves brought Phoenix back with an 11-0 run to end the quarter, reducing Miamis lead to four entering the fourth. Morris scored the first six points of the run. Miami committed two turnovers in the final minute of the quarter, leading to Brown and Telfair each sinking a pair of free throws. Bosh had 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting in the first half. Michael Beasley had 12 points and five first-half rebounds for Phoenix. NOTES: Dragic had eight points, four assists, three steals and no turnovers in the first quarter. ... The Heat have one more six-game road trip, Jan. 1-17, a journey that concludes with a game against the Lakers in Los Angeles. ... This was Miamis first trip to Phoenix in two seasons. The teams played only once, in Miami, in the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season. ... Miami had 19 turnovers, compared to 17 for Phoenix. Jimmy Rollins homered and drove in three runs and Roy Halladay won again as the Phillies outslugged the Miami Marlins 9-7 on Tuesday night for their sixth straight win. Despite allowing five runs and seven hits in 6 1-3 innings, Halladay (10-7) improved to 4-0 in his last five starts. The right-hander walked three and struck out six. Juan Pierre and Chase Utley both had three hits for Philadelphia, which finished with 15 hits while winning its 14th in the last 18 games. The five-time defending NL East champion Phillies, who reached .500 for the first time since June 4, are making a late playoff push. They closed within four game of St. Louis for the second NL wild-card berth. "Things have been going our way good," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said. That was apparent in the sixth inning when Rollins looked to be out after popping up the ball behind home plate. But Marlins catcher Rob Brantly dropped the ball and Rollins followed the error by blasting the next pitch deep into the seats in right to give the Phillies an 8-3 lead. "There are times we got breaks (this season) and werent able to take advantage of it," Rollins said. "This time we were. Its more than that, though. Were executing, playing good defence, and getting good pitching and timely hitting. We know we needed to clean it up in many areas." A smiling Rollins acknowledged a fun atmosphere in the Philadelphia clubhouse. "You hear its a cliche that this is what you play for, for September, but its true," he said. "We have a lot of flags but we dont have a wild-card flag, so this would be a good time." Giancarlo Stanton homered for Miami, which has lost nine of 13. Stanton went deep for the 14th time in his last 17 road games to up his league-leading road total to 21 homers. "We didnt pitch well tonight and we continue to leave people in scoring position," Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen said. "The easy RBIs, we cant get them in when we need them." That has not been the case for the Phillies over the last month. "Weve been playing clean games," Manuel said, "getting the pitching, getting hits when it counts and weve been catching the ball better." Jonathan Papelbon pitched a scoreless ninth for his 33rd save in 37 chances. He was the last of 12 pitchers used in the game, with each team sending six to the mound. The Phillies jumped in front 3-0 in the first inning, highlighted by RRBI singles from Carlos Ruiz and Domonic Brown.dddddddddddd Miami closed within 3-2 in the third on an RBI single by Justin Ruggiano and sacrifice fly by Jose Reyes Philadelphia got a run back in the bottom of the frame on Utleys RBI single, and then took a 5-2 lead in the fifth on Pierres RBI single off Nathan Eovaldi (4-12), who gave up five runs and eight hits in four-plus innings. "I fell behind in counts and was missing with my fastball," Eovaldi said. "Overall, not a good outing." Stanton launched Halladays first pitch of the sixth inning deep into the seats in left to bring the Marlins within 5-3. It was Stantons 34th homer, tying his career-high set last season. Halladay got that run back himself in the bottom of the frame, lining a single up the middle off Chris Hatcher to drive in Michael Martinez who had doubled. It was the second RBI of the season for the light-hitting Halladay, who entered batting .152. And Rollins followed with a two-run homer to right. That looked to be plenty of runs for the Phillies, but the Marlins scored four against four pitchers in the seventh. Halladay left after facing three batters, culminating when Bryan Petersen doubled home Brantly. "The last two months have been a lot better," Halladay said of the teams play. "We have seen a lot of good things and we just want to keep it going." After giving up an RBI single to Ruggiano, it looked as if reliever Josh Lindblom was going to end the inning but second baseman Utley had a sure double-play grounder go through his legs to extend the inning. The Marlins scored two more on RBI singles by Carlos Lee and Greg Dobbs, to get within 8-7. Rollins sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh scored John Mayberry Jr., who had doubled, and put Philadelphia ahead 9-7. The Phillies left the bases loaded when Ryan Howard flied out to centre for the final out. Notes: Ruiz, having a career year, was back in the starting lineup for the first time since Aug. 2. He was on the DL from Aug. 3 through last Friday with a left foot injury. . Christopher Suprun, a paramedic and firefighter who was a first responder to the 9-11 attacks of the Pentagon, threw out the first pitch. Suprun was one of many military, fire and police personnel recognized by the Phillies on the evening. . Dobbs went 1 for 3 against Halladay and is batting .533 (8 for 15) against Halladay. .
