WIMBLEDON, England -- Milos Raonic will once again have to wait to complete at match at Wimbledon. Raonic and American Sam Querrey had their second-round match postponed by darkness. Watch the conclusion of the match on Friday, with coverage on TSN starting at 7am et/4am pt. The 21st-ranked Thornhill, Ont. native had split the first two sets with Querrey and was tied 3-3 in the third before officials called the match. The pair will resume play Friday with the score at 7-6 (7-3), 6-7 (7-9), 3-3. Raonic has now had two matches delayed after his first-round appearances was stretched through a night for rain and darkness. Earlier in the day, Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak dropped a 6-4, 6-2 tilt to Chinas Zheng Jie, her third second-round exit in her past five appearances at Wimbledon. Raonic started brightly on Thursday, capturing the first set in 42 minutes on the back of a strong serving game. He had Querrey on the ropes in a second-set tiebreak, but Querrey survived two Raonic set points before claiming the set. Raonic and Querrey are both known for their serving prowess. But Raonics serve overpowered Querrey, hitting 19 aces to Querreys five. Wozniak, from Blainville, Que., defeated the 25th-seeded Zheng in June at the French Open, but said her opponent was much stronger on Thursday. The 56th-ranked Wozniak produced 25 unforced errors and lost serve five times. "It was tough," she said. "She really wanted to get back at me, today she was playing out of her mind." Despite a strong first-round win over Russian Vera Dushevina on Tuesday and a training session with tennis legend John McEnroe on Wednesday, Wozniak started slowly against Zheng. The Chinese opened the match with a break of serve and never looked back. "We had tough rallies but her balls were coming over like a machine gun," said Wozniak. "Even on the run her shots were heavy and she didnt miss at all." Wozniak will head back home before returning to England for the Summer Olympics in July.
