Church tree festival delights
VISITORS to the Christmas Tree Festival held at the Port Lincoln Lutheran Church on the last weekend in November were amazed and delighted by the spectacular display of more than 18 decorated trees and Christmas scenes.
It was the third festival designed and organised by Jane Pearce, this time with a White Christmas theme.
Snowflakes were crocheted in a variety of patterns, bunting was made Karl Mecklenburg Broncos Jersey using old Christmas cards, small 'log' houses were constructed and Womens Demaryius Thomas Jersey items sewn for the craft stalls.
It was decided to have a special tree in memory of Pastor Karl Mecklenburg Jersey Ben Mogg who died suddenly at the end of October.
People attending the festival were invited to write on the back of the red and white hearts provided and hang them Demaryi... Thomas Jersey on the tree. They were Authent... Demaryius Thomas Jersey also able to make a donation, which will be sent to support Heart Kids.
An attractive wall hanging displayed in the foyer was raffled to raise money for the Hope Education Centre in Myanmar.
