All of this will be placed into a labeled drum for disposal. All supplies used as well the protective gowning used by the hazardous material team will go into this drum as well. The cleaning of the area, by a custodial crew trained in this work will then be completed.


All procedures and processes will be conducted so that other personnel and areas of the plant will not be impacted in a negative way. By using a containment pallet all of that could have been avoided as there will have been no spill. The pallets, specially designed for this, will contain all of the leaked material and it will not have gotten out of the reservoir it has in the bottom.


Any leak noticed in the containers on one of these pallets can be taken care of by moving the pallet out of the area. The production can continue as another pallet can be brought into the area.
