Kidambi Srikanth crashed out of the Badminton World Championships in the quarter-finals as he was completely outplayed by the world No. 1 Son Wan Ho of South Korea in Glasgow on Friday.
Srikanth looked out of sorts for most part of the match and the South Korean trumped the top seeded Indian 21-14, 21-18 in 48 minutes.
Son Wan Ho began the match in a dominating fashion while it looked to be a matter of nerves for [url=http://www.authenticnikeredskinshop.com/chris-thompson-jersey-for-sale-c-55... Srikanth as the top seed won five straight points early on to lead 5-1.
Kidambi Srikanth fell just short of making it to the semi-finals of the Badminton World Championships, as Sindhu booked her place in the semi-finals beating China's Sun Yu 21-14 21-9.
Srikanth thereon smashed his way back into the game to make it 5-6 and the match [url=http://www.authenticbostonredsox.com/Carl-Yastrzemski-Jersey]Authentic Carl Yastrzemski Womens Jersey
remains neck-and-neck till 12-13 with both players testing each other across the court.
Srikanth, thereafter, completely lost the plot and started making too many unforced errors at the net. The world No. 1 ran away with the game, winning it 21-14.
The second game began with the same storyline, though Srikanth was extremely unlucky early on when he lost ground a bit and his shoe came off.
Son Wan Ho completely dominated the rallies and Srikanth was absolutely outdone, unable to find [url=http://www.authenticbostonredsox.com/Carl-Yastrzemski-Jersey]http://www.aut... his game as the South Korean raced to an 11-4 lead at the break.
The story didn't change much after the interval as well and the world No. 1 kept the match on his head leading 16-6.
Traling by 11 points, Srikanth displayed exceptional grit and determination as he won seven points on the trot from there to make it 12-16.
He continued playing with patience and found his angled and deceptive shots to leave the Korean [img]http://www.texansonlineofficialstore.com/images/products/nike_nfl_jerseys/n... reeling and the world No. 1 could add only three points to the scoreline while Srikanth took the game to 18-19.
Son Wan Ho got right back then and won two points on the trot to win the game and snatch the match, after Srikanth had come so close to taking it to the decider third set.
Later in the day, PV Sindhu defeated China's Sun Yu 21-14 21-9 to secure her spot in the semi-finals.
