Bobby Pinson Biography

Bobby Pinson (born in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American country music singer-songwriter. He grew up in the Texas panhandle and began writing music at an early age. He credits Shel Silverstein, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson with helping shape his personal style. Signed to RCA Records in 2005, Pinson made his debut that year with his album Man Like Me, which produced the Top 20 country hit "Don't Ask Me How I Know". Two more albums, I Mean Business and Songs for Somebody, followed in 2005 and 2007, respectively, on independent labels. Pinson has also co-written several singles for other artists, including "Want To" and "All I Want to Do" by Sugarland; "One Wing in the Fire" by Trent Tomlinson; "Unforgiven" and "If I Don't Make It Back" by Tracy Lawrence; "We Weren't Crazy" by Josh Gracin; and "She's a Hottie" by Toby Keith.
