If you come to Terracotta Army,a classic attraction for China day tours, you may feel surprised how it is discovered? It was in March 1974, when local farmers were drilling a well in search of water, that large pottery fragments were discovered 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin’s Mausoleum. This finds subsequently led to the revelation of one pit of the First Emperor’s buried army 2,200 years ago. Since then continual archaeological work on excavation discovered another two pits successively. It has been revealed that three underground pits totally cover an area of 22,000 square meters, housing an estimated 8,000 life-size pottery warriors and horses.

Waht to see during Xian day trips? This vault opened to visitors in 1979. It measures about 210 meters long and 62 meters wide and the bottom of the pit varies from 4.5 meters to 6.5 meters below ground level. Ten earthen walls were built at intervals of 2.5 meters, forming 9 circling corridors. About 6000 terracotta figures of soldiers and horses face east in a rectangular array, each one either armed long spear, dragger or halberd. The vanguard appears to be three rows of infantry who stand at the easternmost end of the army. Close behind is the main force of armored soldiers holding weapons, accompanied by 38 horse-driven chariots. On the southern, northern, and western side there stand one row of figures serving as the army's defense wing. Standing in front of such a grand ancient army array, one would feel the ground shake to the footsteps of the advancing soldiers.

There are still many relics to be found since most of the area is still unexplored, and archaeologists believe what has been found comprises only a tiny fraction of what is there. Unfortunately, excavations of the tomb have currently been stalled by the Chinese government. If you like, China Travel Agency will specially arrange it for you.

Students are failing to learn the essay writing skills they are simply neglecting this and try to go for best essay services writing service blog and giving their assignment work for them. The universities must conduct special classes for non literature students and teach them basic in essay writing and make sure that they do their assignment by their own.
