2010 NFL Predictions Week 3


Even though it is early in the season, there are intriguing trends emerging this 2010 NFL season. We have a few surprise teams with a 2 0 record and the A... Now here are the predictions for Week 3 of the 2010 NFL Season.


Cincinnati Bengals at Carolina Panthers


The Bengals' defense came to life last week and looked a lot like the impressive unit we saw in 2009 when they forced the Ravens' into throwing four interceptions. The Panthers need to make the chance at the quarterback position if they are going to have any success this year. The Panthers may play a little better at home but are going to have a hard time overcoming the Bengals' strengths.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Quarterback Matt Ryan is ready to prove he can lead the Falcons in 2010. On the opposite side the Saints will be coming off a short week when they play host to the Falcons. The Saints' defense is going to be tested by this Falcons defense but will do enough to earn a win.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Instead they are relying upon their dominant defense to help carry them until Big Ben's return. The Buccaneers are the surprise of this young 2010 NFL season and have found a way to win their first two games. Their luck runs out when they face the formidable Steelers.

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens


Though the Browns and Ravens defense did not allow an offense touchdown last week, both teams did not share the same outcome. The Ravens need to be concerned about the four interceptions thrown by quarterback Joe Flacco. The Browns are hoping for some semblance of a constant offense when they take on their division foe. In the end, the Ravens' defense is going to take the Browns apart piece by piece.

Tennessee Titans at New York Giants


Even though the Titans had seven turnovers and benched their starting quarterback during the game, they still had a chance against the Steelers last week. Fisher has made the decision to stick with Vince Young this week against a Giants' defense that gave up over thirty points last week versus the Colts. The Giants will play better at home and will hand the Titans their second loss of the season.

San Francisco 49ers at Kansas City Chiefs


The surprising Chiefs will be eager to take advantage of a 49ers team that closed out the second week of the NFL season on Monday night against the Saints. The Chiefs' defense has stepped up and been an instrumental part in each win. The 49ers will be looking to establish their run game to help give quarterback Alex Smith time to throw. The game should be a close one with and will not be decided until the final few minutes of the game.

Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans


The Cowboys are 0 2 and in danger of falling behind in the race for the NFC East title. Their offense has sputtered and not been able to close out the big play. The Texans had a nice come from behind win against the Redskins and appear ready to take on their in state rival at home. The Texans offense is going to out produce the Cowboys and will help them get off to a 3 0 start.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots


The 2010 NFL season for the Bills is fading fast and they need to find a quarterback who can help lead this team. The running game is going to have a hard time against the Patriots' defense that will be looking to rebound after the loss to the Jets. Tom Brady and company will have their way with the Bills' defense and score at will.

Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings


The hard luck Lions will travel to Minnesota where they always seem to play the Vikings tough. Fans will get to see two stud running backs, the Vikings' Adrian Peterson and the Lions' Jahvid Best, should put on a show for the fans. One of these 0 2 teams is going to come away with a victory and you can lean towards the home town as the odds on favorite.
