The new balance 420 womens, a championed retro runner that’s been removed from retail for eons, is finally returning in 2014. Don’t let the familiar Grey/White color scheme fool you, this rarely seen, often coveted kick has been in the hearts of NB aficionados for years with only hopes of a retro release. Dressed in pigskin nubuck and set to a fused C-CAP and ENCAP sole, this long awaited runner is set to launch.

Ahead of the new year, new balance 420 black is set to take things out of this world with their upcoming “Atmosphere” Pack. Requiring the silhouette services of the 574, the pack ditches sewed up for seamless construction with each rendition in the triple pack featuring a matte finish. Taken up a notch, color-changing panels adorn the kicks, with the inclusion of glow-in-the-dark sections as well.

One of Chicago’s staple sneaker shops is making a return to the collaboration corner with a new joint project with New Balance. The Saint Alfred x new balance 420 grey uses long-haired suede across its entire upper in the Windy City’s most notable rapper’s favorite color. A mesh toe box and leather lining combines with the rugged red suede, all sitting on top of a pure white midsole and a gum bottom. Saint Alfred‘s take on the New Balance 1500 is specially packaged in a string dust bag that is tagged with its producer’s name.
