Getty ImagesAaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch brings good, albeit expected, news for the Columbus Blue Jackets: John Davidson, the man credited with the St. Louis Blues' turnaround, will cheap basketball shoes join the franchise as president of hockey operations.

Davidson, 59, would serve directly under majority owner John P. McConnell, giving him authority over general manager Scott Howson, assistant general basketball shoes sale manager Chris MacFarland and the rest of the hockey operations department. If Davidson's time in St. Louis is an indication, he will not shy away from adding seasoned hockey executives to build a winner in Columbus.
