1. Check the name of the network: If you are a user of Mywifiext, then a number of networks will be available on its screen with different SSID. If you don’t know your SSID, then your modem name is available at the back of its hardware. You can easily find it from there and connect your extender to that SSID.
The strength and the signal of your wireless router depend on the location of it where you have placed inside the home. If it is kept in open, then you will get the proper signal strength on the other hand if you have placed it in a congested area, then the signal strength will get affected. It is important to mention that your modem comes with 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If you want proper coverage, then select 2.5 GHz band from it.
If you want to change the name of your network, then you can do so easily by calling the support provider or read the manual of your router given along with the box.
