Chinese consumer electronics giant Hisense on Thursday said that it has become a sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, a move to raise the company's brand awareness globally.


The sponsorship deal is worth nearly $100 million, and will allow ads for Hisense TVs to be displayed at competition venues in Russia during the event Air Force 1 White , according to a press release obtained by the Global Times Thursday.
